I came across this picture a few days ago and I just really love it. Braeden and I were outside and I was taking pictures of flowers and butterflies. We were going in and I just snapped this one of us.

This was a great movie. Very different and Parker Posey does a great job as a frigid housewife.

So there isn't much new here. It is cold as heck and the kids hate life because they have to catch the bus. This requires standing outside.

I do, however, have a goal for the weekend. I am looking for a new wedding band. I want a silver band about 8mm wide. I don't wear much jewelry and I think my wedding band should be noticeable. I think my husband wants this to be a Valentines gift. I think my buying a wedding band should be a gift for him. Whatever, as long as I get to eat out.

The kids have been fighting for the past week. I guess because they have been couped up. Unlike when I was a child, they do not like to go outside or really move much for that matter. So last night they were arguing over who had to do the dishes. You know, Nuh uh, uh huh, you shut-up, no you shut-up, when my husband decided that was enough. He reminded them how lucky they were to all be living together.Not so long ago my step-sons were living with their mom in Tennessee and we couldn't find them. They wanted to live with us for a long time before we could make it happen. So, he just gave them a reality check and made them all feel guilty. The rest of the night was quiet. I think pouting was what was being done. Any who, everyone but Ashley.

I HATE WALMART....ON SATURDAY!!!

Ugh! Why are there never enough cashiers? It is Saturday, it is Walmart, they'll be busy. Every Saturday, YOU WILL BE BUSY! Today was like black Friday and there was only one T.M.X Elmo left at the special price of free. People were slamming their carts into each other, cutting line, leaving their carts out in the middle of the aisle to look at something 2 aisles over, and my all time fav.... Ethel and Bertha stopped to chat about someone having an affair and blocked the cereal aisle. People had to turn around to get around them. The sad part is I will be right back there next Saturday. I also go on Mon., Wed., and Thurs.

I forgot!

I asked my sister how much weight she gained at her last appt. and she said, "too much." The doc told her to drink light juices and skim milk etc. So I asked again and she ignored me! Keep in mind she is very active. Swims, walks, eats great, no smoking. etc. so whatever she has gained it is healthy baby weight. I just got tickled that she dodged the question. I still out weigh her by at least 35 pounds. Oh, and I am not pg.

MORE SNOW!!!

We woke up to about an inch of more snow. I would post pictures but they would look exactly the same as the others!

I just ordered my sister's bedding. It is really sweet. It is manufactured by Banana Fish and they have some really neat-o stuff. I can't wait to see my 5 foot sister 7 months pregnant. 3 more weeks and I will be on my way to her shower.

Went grocery shopping last night after Roger came home. We even remembered the lists. Yes, plural. We each had a cart and divided up the shopping. We spent $355.46! I will post a picture of the pantry later, it is impressive.

So, Braeden and I have a habbit of taking his nap together in our bed. So, today after he went to sleep I came out to the kitchen to do some things. Usually he wakes up and if I am not in bed with him he comes and finds me. Today, however, he decided to put on some mascara to impress me. Is mascara expensive?

The boys had to have a nap before the big game. Sorry to say that the Patriots lost to the Colts. The Colts are my cousins favorite team but not ours. Oh well, my heart goes out to my New Hampshire family. 

Snow update.....

Well after much anticipation from the kids school was delayed 2 hours. Yes, they wanted the whole day off but they just got to sleep in instead. I love the way everything looks right after it snows AND I hate the way it looks a few hours later. According to our local news we are still 8 or 9 inches below normal for the are in snowfall. Well anywho, we are back to a normal week now.

2-4 inches should be all we get but it was still pretty. I made ALL the kids go outside so I could get some pictures.

It's snowing outside, just a bit but it's nice. I have been waiting for snow since we moved to Ohio and have had a few flurries, bah. I want snow. I want school closed, kids playing outside and then tracking in, hot chocolate, and all the great pictures I can take. I want to go to the store and watch people stocking up on bottled water, bread, canned goods. Hehehehehe!

It seems that Verizon Wireless owns my soul. Thank God for Asurion insurance. We have been through about a dozen phones in 2 years. 10 of them were our fault, you know I washed 1, threw 2, dropped 2, 3 of them were crushed (don't ask), and I am not sure about the others. It's a $50.00 deductible when it's your fault or the warranty is out. Anywho, just added a fifth line and it seems that sometime in 2020 my contract will be fulfilled. Wow.

I seem to be in a housewife rut. I need to change up my routine. So, this morning I showered so when the Schwan's person shows up I will be presentable. Usually I bathe at night before my husband comes home. I also think I will try a new Downy softener, maybe water lily and jasmine? Racy, huh?

Hope they win!!!
