Just Venting!!!
I am so darn sick of sick kids! For the past few weeks I have purchased more medicine, 7 Up, Kleenex, Lysol, soup, thermometers, etc. All told the kids have missed 12 days of school. Brett woke me up at 1 a.m. puking! I was starting Curves today and now I have to wait! Grrrrrrr!
Jili update......She is at her birth weight right now (good), her mommy is able to hold her, feed her, etc. The hardest day so far was Saturday. My sister was discharged from the hospital and had to leave that little girl there. I cried all day thinking of how hard and unfair that was. I cannot imagine what my sister went through that day. But everyday she is getting stronger and closer to coming home. I will be there when my kids are on spring break.
Diet is going very good! I weigh this Friday. Jumping rope is an amazing work out!

She is here! 4 pounds 6 ounces, 16.5" long, and black hair. Mom and dad are doing well and my sister says she looks like a pissed off grandma. Hahaha...cannot wait to see my niece.

Diet Update!!!
I have lost 6.5 pounds! WooHoo! I am so exited. I joined Weight Watchers on-line and have been doing this for 9 days. It took some getting used to and I am still figuring it all out but I like it! I think it is healthy and rewarding. My FAT jeans are almost impossible to wear now because they fall down. The program really is teaching me a lot about portion size, the importance of drinking water, exercise, and my energy level is so much better. I believe that this is going to be something I do for the rest of my life. I want to loose 20 pounds by June....wish me luck.

DIET!!!!!
It has been 9 days since I started this diet. It has been hard. Like, real hard at times. BUT....have not cheated. I am eating about 1200-1300 calories a day and 15g of fat. I have cut out all sodas, fried foods, and almost all red meat. I do a little exercise every day and drink more water than I have ever had in my life. I didn't weigh myself when I started but I have a pair of jeans to try on after 4 weeks. Scales discourage me so I am staying away from them. After my trip to Illinois I did some figuring on what all I had been eating. At one sitting I had consumed 1100 calories and 40 grams of fat. Not hard to do at all when you are eating pizza. No wonder I am a good 40 pounds overweight. Oh, I have also replaced my salt with a substitute and everyone is eating healthier because I prepare the meals. Lots of fruit, lots of vegetables, skim milk, etc. I hope this works. I am so tired of having to buy bigger clothes every few months.
